Zamna is a two-night format and where you sleep shapes everything else. We've put crews in all three options across three years — here's the honest tradeoff for each, so you can match it to your group and budget.
On-site camping — for the immersive crowd
Bring-your-own tent in the camping zone is 1,200 THB for the weekend. You're 4 minutes from the Temple stage. The afterparty atmosphere is genuinely unmatched: drum circles, sunrise sets from the camping DJ booth, strangers who become friends by Sunday.
Tradeoffs: it's loud until 06:00, the showers are cold, and the lockers are first-come. Best for first-time festival campers in a group of 4+ who want the full experience.
Glamping — comfort without leaving the site
Pre-pitched bell tents (4,800 THB) and air-conditioned safari tents (8,500 THB) sit on a raised platform with proper bedding, lockable storage, and shared hot showers. They sell out 6 weeks in advance.
It's the right answer for couples and groups of 2–3 who want the on-site experience without the logistics. Wake up to coffee delivery and a real bed. Note: the 'quiet zone' designation isn't always respected when the headliner lands at 03:00.

Hotel base — for the early-flight crowd
If your Monday flight is at 08:00, sleep in a real hotel. Bang Tao and Cherngtalay have boutique options 25 minutes from the venue with festival shuttle pickup. Pick The Surin (luxury), Vijitt Resort (mid), or Casa Vimaya (smart-budget).
You give up the late-night fireside moments but you gain a real shower, a swimming pool to nurse Sunday's hangover in, and a king-size mattress. Honest pick for anyone over 30 with a real job to fly back to.
Things every base option benefits from
- 1A small dry-bag with one fresh outfit per day — humidity ruins everything in a soft duffel.
- 2Mosquito repellent with at least 30% DEET. The jungle is gorgeous and biting.
- 3A portable fan (battery, ~600 THB) makes the tents twice as livable.
- 4Eye mask + earplugs are non-negotiable regardless of where you sleep.
"Glamping is the sweet spot. You get the magic at 3am and a real bed at 8am."
