Zamna built its reputation in Tulum and exported the formula whole — a single deep-melodic sonic identity, ancient/futurist production design, and the two-stage tension that keeps you walking between Temple and Jungle all night. Thailand is the third edition and the lineup curation is sharper than ever.
Temple stage — the main story
Friday's Temple closes with Tale Of Us in B2B form for the first time in 18 months. Saturday is Adriatique's 4-hour extended set. Expect melodic-techno's full emotional spectrum: cinematic peaks, long modulating breakdowns, the occasional vocal lift.
The stage itself is the most photographed in melodic-techno: a 30-meter Mayan-inspired step pyramid wrapped in fire columns, with a moon disc that fades from white to deep red across the night. The visuals sync to the BPM, so the peaks land harder than at most venues.
Jungle B-stage — the real heads' choice
Jungle opens at 02:00 and closes at 06:30. It's where the heritage Zamna sound lives: longer mixes, deeper grooves, more techno less melodic. The booth crew rotates through the resident DJs plus 'special guest' slots that are not on the printed lineup.
Both nights have at least one unannounced B2B at the 03:30 slot. Last year it was Mind Against B2B Mathame; the year before, Stephan Bodzin dropping in unannounced. Don't go to sleep at 02:00.

How to plan your two nights
- 1Friday: Temple from 21:00 to 01:30, switch to Jungle for the 02:00 reveal.
- 2Saturday: catch the sunset opening at the Jungle (17:30) — it's the most beautiful set of the weekend, played with the sun coming through the trees.
- 3Eat between 18:00 and 19:00 at the food court — food queues hit 40 minutes after 20:00.
- 4Save your phone battery for Saturday night — that's the unannounced-guest night historically.
"Temple is the cathedral, Jungle is the basement. You need both for a real Zamna weekend."
Beyond the music: rituals and moments
Friday at 00:00 the on-site shaman does a 5-minute opening ceremony from the Temple stage — it's brief, sincere, and the crowd genuinely respects it. Don't film it.
Saturday at sunrise (06:15) is the 'closing circle' on the beach platform — the residents play one final 30-min ambient set and the crew hands out tea. Stay for it.
